New lymphoma treatment for dogs

New hope for dogs with lymphoma??

Researchers have apparently identified a new target for the treatment of lymphoma and are testing a potential new drug in pet dogs afflicted with the disease. The compound, called S-PAC-1, stopped tumor growth in three out of six dogs that were tested, and resulted in a partial remission on a fourth. It seems to be a promising start. The National Cancer Institute is supporting a clinical trial of the drug with a $525,000 grant. We’re all hoping for good results….
